Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file that websites store in your browser. At prufy.io we use cookies to measure how the site is used, only if you accept them, and one technical cookie when you request access to the platform. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

They are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice. We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to know which pages are visited and which content is useful. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, which last up to two years and distinguish visitors anonymously. You can read more in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.

Heatmaps and recordings (Microsoft Clarity)

They only run if you accept analytics in the cookie notice. We use Microsoft Clarity, a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, to see in aggregate how people move through the site, how far they read and where they get stuck. What you type in the forms is masked and not recorded. It sets the _clck and _clsk cookies on prufy.io, which link the pages of a single visit, and Microsoft may set CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR and SM from its own domains, which it shares across its services. The site tells Clarity not to use the data for advertising. You can read more in Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.

Cookieless measurement (Vercel Analytics)

We also use Vercel Analytics, which measures aggregate visits without cookies or personal identifiers, so it does not require consent.

Platform access requests

If you sign in to the Prufy platform with Google or Microsoft and your account has not been admitted yet, the platform sets the technical cookie prufy_access_hint on the prufy.io domain with your name and email, so the access request form reaches you already filled in. It lasts ten minutes at most and the site deletes it as soon as it reads it. It is not used for anything else and your details are only recorded if you send the request. It is necessary for the service you ask for, so it does not require consent.

Where your visit came from

While the tab is open we keep in your browser's session storage, under the key prufy-attribution, the page you entered on and the campaign parameters of the link that brought you. It is not a cookie, it is deleted when you close the tab and it only leaves your browser if you send a form, together with your request.

Your choice

We store your decision, accept or decline, in your browser's local storage under the key prufy-analytics-consent, so we do not ask again on every visit. You can also delete cookies at any time from your browser settings.

Manage your consent

You can change your decision at any time from here.
